Laughter is the best medicine … for stress!
Levels of two of the most important stress hormones – cortisol and epinephrine – drop after a hearty spoonful of laughter. These hormones are immune-system suppressors. The more you laugh, the less these hormones cause a ruckus within your body and the better equipped it is to ward off bacteria and viruses.
